Nicole S. Ofstein, Esq. is founder and principal shareholder of Ofstein
& Associates, P.A., a law firm that offers tax representation to
individuals and businesses nationwide.
Ms. Ofstein earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida,
a Juris Doctor from Nova
Southeastern University, and a Master of Laws
in Taxation (with honors) from the Washington School of Law. She is a
member in good standing with the Florida Bar as well as various
professional, academic and civic organizations.
Prior to opening Ofstein & Associates in 2001, Ms. Ofstein served as
managing director of the Florida
office and head of the tax resolution department at the law firm of
Arnold S. Goldstein & Associates, P.A., where she represented clients
nationwide regarding their problems with the IRS. Her area of
concentration was, and still is, IRS tax resolution, specifically the
Offer in Compromise program.
Ms. Ofstein has successfully negotiated offers in compromise, installment
agreements, hardship deferments, abatement of penalties and interest,
innocent spouse relief, and release of tax liens and levies on behalf of
her clients.
Ms. Ofstein is a dynamic and entertaining speaker and writer on the IRS.
She has lectured before numerous taxpayer and professional groups on IRS
matters and has been the featured speaker on various radio programs
concerning the IRS. In addition, she co-authored Solving IRS Problems
Made E-Z (2001) and How to Settle with the IRS…for Pennies
on the Dollar (2007).
